2 tbsp. celery salt
2 teaspoons black pepper, ground
1 12 teaspoon salt
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
3 pound brisket of beef
1 cup Russian salad dressing
1 cup barbeque sauce with a hickory flavor
In a small bowl, combine celery salt, black pepper, salt, garlic salt, and onion salt; add Worcestershire sauce. Spread the mixture over the beef brisket and place it in a slow cooker.
Cook on Low for 8 hours, or until the beef is tender.
Transfer the beef to a cutting board and shred it into small pieces with two forks.
Pour 1/2 cup of the slow cooker’s cooking liquid into a saucepan. Bring to a boil with the Russian dressing and barbeque sauce.
In the slow cooker, combine the shredded beef and sauce mixture. Cook on Low for 1 hour, or until flavors combine.
